You know the feeling when you watch a particular scene on the television and think "ah i'd love to do that".Imagine if that feeling comes true.Well as a kid i had always been mystified by the night sky.Everytime i saw some space program on the discovery channel,i wished that i would be able to lay my hands on a telescope someday and look beyond our everyday lives.And this wish recently came true for me.
A few months back i started downloading and watching the Smallville series.They've shown Clark Kent have a mini-telescope,which he looks through every night.And its been shown beautifully,with an amazing background score.Thats when i made up my mind to get one for myself.Soon i got myself one.And the very first night after getting it,i went on my building terrace with a few friends and my dad to check out the night sky.We focussed on the moon and man,it was beautiful,divine! I used a higher magnification and zoomed the view by 85 times.And i wondered how it was out there on the moon.I mean this is what i've always wanted.A means to leave behind all my issues and problems in life and just divert my mind to something that's more complicated than life around me.That turned out to be the best experience i've ever had in my life.During the daytime,i focus the telescope on the houses around me,mostly to check out people's undergarments.Ha ha and the craziest part was when i tried focussing on the coconut of a coconut tree.
I haven't yet learnt to look beyond the moon,but i'll definitely get there someday soon.Its been a blissful experience and one i'll never forget for sure.
